Classic Water Lily Study I

Classic Water Lily Study I
Red, White, Yellow

This collection features the classic white lily in dramatic chiaroscuro, flanked by red and yellow classics. The white flower is illuminated by dappled light, with the the surrounding pads subdued in the shade. This arrangement is recommended where open wall space allows displaying all three side by side.   See Classic Water Lily Study II for a split arrangement.  Works well on most  background colors.

This collection works especially well on a dark background.  The backlit lily pads gleam like silver.  The center image, given its smaller scale, should be displayed slightly higher to suggest a sense of perspective, as if at a distance in the background. A showy and brilliant display.

White, Red, White/Red

This collection also features the classic white lily, which can be a centerpiece on its own wall space.  It’s a decorative and comfortable sight upon entering an office or reception area.

Colorful red, white/red lilies can be displayed on an adjacent wall, to be explored when the visitor takes a chair.  The blue and green hues in the water and the yellow lily pad of the center red flower invite a closer exploration.  The classic white/red pair unite and finalize the theme.

Allow for head clearance over seating areas
