Tips/FAQs

Get Disorganized!  Pocket NoteTree for Pocket PC 2002 enables you to spontaneously enter short notes, dates, times, or checklist items in a natural, "brain-friendly" manner, breaking free of the "mind-control" structure of traditional organizers.

Entries are organized in a tree-like structure, with icons representing entry Categories.  Put a Date under your Dentist, or put your Dentist under a Date. Put a Time under a Date, or put a note or put nothing at all under a Date. Have it your way.

Pocket NoteTree consolidates all dates and times wherever they are located within the same file so you can enter events anywhere you find convenient. The Time Selector merges dates and times, wherever they're located, into a master view of all your events.

In the List View, you can view all entries by a particular Category, such as unchecked or checked, appointments, phone numbers, current or past dates, or you can search for text .

You can create new Categories based on existing Categories, or even add icon art work for your own unique Category requirements. Over 80 Category Icons are included. Yes, it Prints, too.

New in V1.67: Uncheck All command; large text editing and "Quick-Pick" icons feature. Priority High, Medium, Low icons added; new text search options for the list view; maintenance and user interface upates recommended for all current users.

Regional Requirements

Most date formats (see Issues below) are supported by the PDA are now supported in V1.56 and greater; "AM" or "PM" or 24 hour clock; English language.

Issues

There is a report involving an international date format which results in the month showing as DD-Mar-YY. This may occur when the regional format for month is set to use the month "name" (such as "Mar" for March) instead of the number (such as "03"). If this occurs, try changing the regional setting to the numeric form of the month.  This is the only known work-around at this time.

Please contact us regarding any difficulties so we can solve them quickly!
