SAMPLE
BUDGET
This sample worksheet computes Monthly Expenses
and Monthly Income. Using these totals, Monthly Net
Income is computed, from which Yearly Savings is
projected.
The following instructions describe how to create
these entries in a new worksheet. See menu
Help/Content for details on all aspects of operation.
Monthly Net is used to project a future date by
which you can save $10,000 as a down payment for a
property purchase.
TEXT ENTRY
Text should be entered through the PDA's Software
Input Panel (SIP) but numbers and operators
should be entered through the buttons on the
calculator's Keypad.
The term "button" will refer to the calculator's
Keypad controls as opposed to "keys" on the PDA's
Input Panel.
To create a "bold" section title in the Number Column,
such as "MONTHLY EXPENSES", tap the Text Check Box to
the left of the Text Entry Box, located above the
calculator's Keypad.
When a check mark appears in the Text Check Box, type
"MONTHLY EXPENSES" in capital letters on the SIP.
Tap the Enter key on the SIP to complete the text
entry.
Section Title text is automatically "bolded" but
it is NOT automatically capitalized.
MONTHLY EXPENSES
To create Commentary Text such as this, tap the Text
Check Box until it is unchecked. Type your text
through the SIP. Tap the Enter key on the SIP to
complete the entry.
Commentary Text will be placed in be Text Column --
the one your are reading now.
The calculator will rearrange Commentary Text
to create as many rows as necessary so that each row
contains no more than 27 characters, for better
visibility of numbers and text.
Section Title text in the Number Column will be
arranged so that each row contains no more than 16
characters.
Next we'll create a NUMBER ENTRY with TEXT. Text
associated with a number is NOT rearranged over
multiple rows, but you should keep it as short as
possible for better visibility of numbers and
text.
