Sample Currency Conversion
This example is specific to Pocket Worksheet for Pocket PC 2002. It converts US Dollars to other currencies. It also converts other currencies to US Dollars (USD).
A short and long form of the worksheet are shown below. Commentary text is removed in the short form to emphasize functional content.

Let's insert a conversion for Australian Dollars
(AUD). To insert the new conversion, tap the row
above with the CLEAR (C) operation to select that
row and tap the Ins button. This initiates "Insert
After" action.
Tap the Text Entry Box and type the conversion title,
such as "USD - > AUD" on the PDA's Software Input
Panel (SIP). Tap the Text Check Box to the left of
the Text Entry Box until it shows a check mark. Tap the
Enter key in the SIP to complete the text entry.
Insert action remains in effect for all of the
following entries. Do NOT tap the Esc button until
all the entries have been completed.
Tap any row above with the value "100.00 + USD" to
select it. Tap the Use button. Tap the + button to
complete the entry.
Next we'll enter the conversion rate: Tap the
Text Entry box and type "AUD/USD (Australian
Dollars Rate)" as on the SIP. DO NOT type the
asterisk. Tap the number buttons 1 . 8 0 0 9 then
tap the MULTIPLY (X) button.
Tap the Text Entry Box and type the resulting currency
label "AUD". Tap the EQUAL (=) button. Tap the CLEAR
(C) button.
Next tap the Esc button to discontinue Insert action.

To insert a new conversion back to USD, we can easily
"Use" values already defined. Let's base this on
the USD - > AUD conversion inserted above.
Tap the row above with the CLEAR (C) operation to
select that row. Tap the Text Entry Box and type
"AUD -> USD" on the SIP. Tap the Text Check Box to
the left of the Text Entry Box until a check mark
appears. Tap the Enter key in the SIP to complete the
text entry.
Tap any row above with the values "100 + Other
Currency" to select that row. Tap the Use button.
Tap the + button to complete the entry.
Scroll up and tap the row we created with the label
"AUD/USD (Australian Dollar Rate)" to select it. This
contains the original exchange rate. Tap the Use
button.
Next tap the DIVIDE (/) button to complete the
entry. We're dividing now because we want a USD/AUD
rate.
Tap the Text Entry Box and type "USD from AUD" on the
SIP. Tap the = button to display the entry in the
worksheet. Tap the CLEAR (C) button to clear the
current total.
