Serengeti - Great Migration

Our camp at Moru Kopje overlooks the savanna.  The night is full of sounds of the mooing of wildebeest and the barking of zebra -- so loud it seems like they're right outside our tents.

The horizon of the morning sky is obscured with a thick haze -- dust -- and that's the sign that something big is coming.

We leave camp at sunrise, and just minutes away ...

... we witness one of the legendary spectacles of Africa, a Great Migration.

Wildebeest and zebra flow in tidal waves over the savanna ... the muffled beat of hoofs ... and dust ... awesome!
